After last Thursday's episode of South Park, I caught part of Important Things With Demetri Martin. I laughed my ass off.

I decided to check out his stand-up online today since I knew zero about him previously and wondered what his stage act was like.

I watched "If I" on youtube in all of its parts. I'm a fan of his now. To some his humor may come off as arrogant, but I love the uniqueness of his style and material.

I never really watched him but I remember that he never got any laughs when he was on the Daily Show.

Yeah. I'm a fan of comics and normally know more than most, but I didn't know of him previously even though his name rang a bell.

Okay I watched the "If I" bit and while I did derive some entertainment value from it, I did not laugh much.

I turned off his bit after South Park because it just wasn't funny to me. :shrug:

Okay those links were a lot better. Not bad although it sucks that the same jokes overlap the two tapings so much. :)

Hes my favorite current standup comedian. Second favorite of all time after Mitch Hedberg, but I'm not really a big fan of the show. Each show has a few funny moments but most of it I don't like

his stand up is much better than the show. Look for the graph that he has, "The correlation between how hot you are vs how much I want to hear about how smart your cat is" :rolllaugh:

I caught his show once and wasn't impressed. It came across as low budget and starring someone who hadn't figured out comedic delivery yet.

The season premiere wasn't all that great, but I still enjoyed it enough to keep watching.
