With the US in it this year, maybe it'll generate some interest on here.

What country are you all supporting? I'm hoping Serbia can make it out of this group, it's the toughest one IMO, besides group G.

The USA actually looks like they have a decent shot at making it out of their group. It's kind of a toss up between them, Algeria and Slovenia though.

I get to cheer for the U.S. and Brazil. So, should be a good world cup.

As of the latest rankings, Group D has the 5th, 13th, 23rd and 28th ranked teams in the world. (Average: 17th. Without Ghana, the average is 13th)

Group G has the 2nd, 6th, 22nd, and 102nd ranked teams in the world. Excluding Korea, Group G has an average ranking of 7th.

These two should be pretty fun to watch.

Greece looked horrible today. I'll be curious to see how the US and England play today at 2:30... I don't expect either team to go deep in the tournament.

Germany with the first real splash of the tourney lighting up the Aussies.

Looking forward to Oranje vs. Denmark tomorrow.

The cross on that Klose header goal was amazing.

Seems like Holland always brings a good team whether it's the Euro's or the World Cup but their opponents in the later stages just seem to always be a little bit better.

That Slovenia goal kind of looked like the USA goal. It wasn't nearly as bad but it should have been stopped.

Imagine the odds that you could have had if you said that England, France, Portugal, Italy and Spain would all be winless at this point.

Coming on as a sub and being benched is not the same...I don't really understand Spain's decision to start Torres on the bench. I would've played at least a 4-4-2 with Torres/Villa up front. I don't really mind having Fabregars coming off the bench in the 2nd half though (they did the same in Euro 08).

They're still gonna make it out of this group though.

Edit: I'm with El Jefe on this one...Go Oranje :D

That call against the US was unspeakably bad, just fucking atrocious. That ref deserves to be beaten to death with a vuvevula.

I agree. If this were Brazil or Germany there would be riots everywhere and that ref's head on a pike
